Yes. All firearm sales are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Firearms will be transferred through a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer, and buyers must pass all required background checks prior to possession.
How do I register to bid in the auction?
Interested bidders may register online through the auction website by creating an account and completing the bidder registration process. Once approved, you may place bids during the scheduled auction period.
Can firearms be shipped to my location?
Firearms will be shipped only to a licensed FFL dealer of the buyer’s choosing. Non-firearm items such as accessories, optics, knives, and sportsman gear may be shipped directly where permitted. Nationwide shipping is available, subject to item type and applicable laws.
What forms of payment are accepted?
Accepted payment methods are credit card, cash, wire transfer, or cashier's check. Payment is required within the stated timeframe following the auction’s close.

Most firearms in this auction are pre-owned unless otherwise stated.
Do you offer combined shipping for multiple items?
Yes, when possible. Combined shipping may be available for eligible items to help reduce costs. Firearms and non-firearms may ship separately depending on regulations and handling requirements.
What happens if I win an item?
Winning bidders will receive an invoice after the auction closes with payment and pickup or shipping instructions. Items must be paid for and transferred within the timeframe stated in the auction terms.

BUYERS PREMIUM: A 10% buyer's premium will be added to each purchase. If you bid $100.00, you will be charged $110.00 at checkout.
PAYMENT: Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, local check (under $500) & cash. Payment must be made prior to picking any items up.
STAGGARD/GROUP/DYNAMIC CLOSING: The auction will begin closing on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:07 pm. The closing time of a lot or group of lots will be automatically extended an additional 3 minutes whenever a bid is placed within the last 3 minutes of the lot's closing time and will continue to do so until the timer runs out.
We utilize scheduled load-out by appointment. We will be sending out an email to all winning bidders with a link to sign up for an appointment after the auction is over.
LOAD OUT: Winning bidders may pick their items up at 16513 Cornerstone Drive; Belton Missouri by appointment only during the published load-out times. Load Out will be held on Wednesday, January 21st from 1 pm to 5 pm and Thursday, January 22nd from 9 am to 12 pm by scheduled appointment only. Any items left after the specified load-out items will be considered forfeited unless alternate pickup or shipping arrangements are made. It will be the buyer's responsibility to dismantle & disconnect any and all equipment. Please bring your own tools, labor, packing materials & moving equipment.
SHIPPING: Shipping costs are $12 for materials and handling plus the cost of shipping through USPS and/or UPS. These charges vary depending on the dimensions, weight, and insurance costs. Once the loadout is completed, we will begin packing your items to be shipped as soon as possible. You will receive shipping updates via text and email from ShippingSaint.com. The time it takes for us to get your items shipped varies from auction to auction depending on the number of buyers with shipping requests. Some items may be too fragile, oversized, or heavy to be shipped with us. These items will not be eligible for shipping through our services but arrangements can be made using other services such as cartage, courier, or other outside shipping options. WARRANTY & CONDITION OF ITEMS SOLD: All items are sold 'AS IS, WHERE IS, with NO WARRANTY expressed or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine the condition of the items and bid accordingly.
CAUTION: For demonstration purposes, various equipment may be joined. Do not assume a lot consists of more than one item simply because they are connected or pictured together. Please inspect the lot numbers and read the descriptions.
CATALOG DISCREPANCIES: You are bidding on the described item, not the photograph, occasionally the wrong photo may be displayed, always read the item description.
CHOOSE WISELY: We want everyone to get a good deal and most will. However, when you bid on the wrong item or decide an item is not suited for your intended use, our clients are not willing to assume the cost of your mistakes. When in doubt about condition, completeness, or suitability for intended use, please bid accordingly.
Server & Software Technical Issues: In the event that there are technical difficulties related to the server, software, or any other online auction-related technologies, Mayo Auction & Realty reserves the right to extend bidding, continue the bidding, or close the bidding.
NEITHER THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE SOFTWARE NOR MAYO AUCTION & REALTY SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A MISSED BID OR THE FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY FOR ANY REASON. Email notifications will be sent to registered bidders with updated information as deemed necessary by Mayo Auction & Realty.
FIREARMS: All applicable gun laws will be observed. All buyers will fill out 4473, show ID, and an FBI background check will be performed before possession of a firearm will be transferred to the buyer. If the buyer is unable to take possession of the firearm, a 20% restocking fee will be assessed on the winning bid and the buyer's premium forfeited. (If you cannot pass the background check, please do not bid on firearms).
KANSAS RESIDENTS: We are unable to transfer handguns or receivers or frames to non-Missouri residents. Please plan on using a Kansas FFL dealer to obtain your firearms. We are partnered with Centerfire in Olathe, Kansas where we can drop off your firearms at no additional cost the following Tuesday and you will just need to pay their transfer fee to them when you complete your background check. Please call or send an email after the auction to make these arrangements.
SHIPPING OF FIREARMS: All firearms must be shipped to an FFL (Federal firearm Licensee) of the buyer's choosing, FFLs are fairly easy to find (most gun shops will do this for you), and most charge a nominal fee for this service. A shipping and handling fee will be assessed to the buyer. The receiving FFL will then perform the transfer of the firearm to the buyer including any required background checks, the buyer is responsible for any fees assessed by his/her FFL. An adult signature will be required for the receipt of any firearm that is shipped. You will need to contact your FFL dealer and have them send a copy of their FFL to [email protected] and include your name in order to complete the shipping of your winning firearms.
The auctioneer reserves the right to add or remove items from the auction; split or combine lots; add minimum bids or reserve prices. The auctioneer reserves the right to cancel, suspend, extend or reschedule an individual item and or auction event or to make changes to the auction closing times or inspection or removal times.
